It would be nice if Nexon would post a notice to players to uninstall Pando if they still have it on their computers since it's not used any more, to help avoid malware like we're seeing now, just as a service to their players.

It turns out that Pando Media Booster was actually taken down a while ago and maplestory doesn't even use it to install anymore. Anything relating to Pando Media Booster anymore is going to be some sort of malware probably since it's actually not available anymore.

DO NOT "update" Pando Media Booster from this popup.
From all indications, this is virus malware trying to infect your computer.

Maplestory does NOT need Pando once the game is installed and it's much better if you just uninstall it once the game is up and running to avoid problems like this.

Uninstall it and you'll be fine.

I uninstalled mine and my games work just fine

This isn't Nexon's or Pando Media Booster's fault, though it is good regardless to remove Pando Media Booster after the download anyways because it doesn't really provide you any service past speeding up your initial download, and after that it just uses up a ton of bandwidth and slows down your internet."

Thank you, I hate pando media booster but it's been the only thing for installing games like LoL/ms that I knew about.

It doesn't really do much but i wouldn't really touch it. @DivineRikku If you want to download maplestory the quickest way possible, just download it off Steam.

MapleStory doesn't need it but it'll speed up the download by a lot.
Even if you don't install it though it'll reinstall it during the next patch if that's still the same.
Pando Media Booster also uses your computer to speed up others download so remove it or it'll use your connection.
