Dawn Warrior - 1h vs. 2h
I was wondering if there was a major difference in dps between a one-handed and two-handed sword since if there isn't I'd rather be using a one-handed one for the attack speed

I see. Thanks was too lazy to research for the variables to consider and to do the math
^ hm maybe I should switch back to 2h. I got a 1h sword for fafnir and it goes well with shield but the potentials aren't really all that great so I might switch back to 2h.
2h will always be better unless you hit cap.
Even then, the difference is not that big if you have booster + speed infusion and/or +1 attack speed inner ability when using 2h.
Dawn warriors don't even have final attack, so 1h will give even less benefit than 2h compared to the other warriors.
Ah yea, I keep forgetting about the green potion bug.
It won't make up for the damage loss, you'll end up attacking slightly slower but your attacks will do significantly less damage.
2 handed is pretty much always better until you hit close to cap with 1 handed weapons on most classes.
But Soul Master hits speed cap already just using 2 handed swords, so that isn't really an issue.
I can use a green mpe pot to bypass the speed cap. I'm basically just asking if the extra speed makes up for the damage multiplier
I use 1h but 2h would give you a higher multiplier
