It's awkward because I'm a Xenon. Also, Battle Mages aren't played because they're a combination of forgotten (as a result of being trash tier for so long) and repetitive (exact same skill concept from 1-250). If you think any class in MapleStory is remotely technical (bar maybe Zero if you lack some brain cells), then you need Jesus.

I swear to God these classes are being revamped every other patch lol.

OT: It could be worse. Finishing blow used to be the same way as sweeping staff, except there was a 2 second delay from when you pressed the key before you actually attacked.

If you get the timing right it's alright really.

Also got to bare in mind, when you're fighting bosses and it goes into DR you still have that one moment where you can stop casting Sweeping Staff to avoid it.

Battle Mages are fun because they're unique in that the require the spammage of 2 buttons instead of 1.

its not that difficult to press two buttons.....

Right now in KMS, the creation of BaMs, Arans, and some other resistance classes was closed off.
Expect a major overhaul of a revamp, one that move remove Sweeping Staff, or possibly enhance it <3

OT: I think if Sweeping staff was its own skill, It would make almost every offensive BaM skill obsolete. That range, power, AND speed.

They should just make it a skill of its own so we can just non-stop spam BKB <3

i'd be fine with it if it was made automatically like a finisher or a toggle skill, seeing that spammed message is annoying </3

i like it better the way it is.
having it as an on/off skill will just be awkward when you use finishing bl0w.
pressing 1 key and doing two skills will just mess up my rythm.
i dont really get your meaning of add-on.
