is this a good buy?
Yellow duke with 4% str and 2% all stats and a brown jangoon pant with 4% str, both for 30m each. For those who are not aware, they are both level 40 warrior equips. Yellow duke is a hat, pants are... well, pants. Thanks guys.

Senior equips can only be equpped by warriors for some reason.
Purple Senior armour are free and you can get 4% or higher in STR, or whatever stat that is required for your class, fairly frequently. I would say that you lost that trade, and it isn't an opinion, but fact. In addition, percent equips don't really make much of a difference at low levels, unless you have above 15% or higher in the required stats that you need.
% stat equips are still pretty expensive, but the expensive ones are usually the one with 9%+ lining(unique-legendary). 6%- lining(rare-epic) are relatively easy to get b/c dropped equips with hidden pots usually contain them.
can someone explain to me what that is? I just came back and before I quit %stat tops and bottoms were somewhat expensive

No, you can get 4%-6% stat purple senor equips when you do mpe at lvl 70.
