1. If you enjoy combo play mercs, if you are more fond setting up multiple different utilities wild hunter.
2. Wild hunter does more with less as it has % attack buffs
3. really depends on the boss. On chaos vellum a wild hunter doesn't use its set up utilities as much and just spam its wild Vulcan attack with an occasional setup when it gets the chance. A mercedes also has lightning edge which almost adds mini invincibility frams when used right at certain bosses like chaos chicken.
4. Mercs now use comboing so mobbing takes a bit more skill to execute. Wild hunters are pretty spammable mobbers if spamming a key with occasional setups is your forte.

2. Definitely wild Hunter
3. About equal, but if you fund merc to have good range it is better.
4. Both are good mobbers. Merc is mostly jumping around and wild Hunter is usually stationary using sonic roar to hit both sides.

o let me correct u merc require almost the most funding out of any bowman to see decent damage wh on the other hand from buffs alone get almost 100% damage increase so when I only have my noob xbow on and full buff my range goes to almost 200k where as my merc cant even break 50k
