Pet is not auto potting

So my pet is not healing when ever I'm 1/1. Anyone else got the same problem and how can I fix this? My up alert is on 100. Before the big alliance patch my pet would auto pot 1/1. Now it doesn't heal 1/1... It makes my pet so useless now .

im just annoyed that i gotta deal with 1/1 with perm pet pot. i brought it for that reason. the 1/1 attack that most of the major bosses do. now i have to concentrate more and watch out for my hp during boss runs. i used to eat/text/tv while i held down the attack button during zak, cause i relied on my pet. this sucks...
It has been for months or even somewhere 2010 this glitch that happens on my Bishop. I tried to figure out but no succes. It works fine on all my other characters. I will type more in few min, on the phone atm. Also seems it was fixed before if yours worked.before.

This glitch has showed up before, it looks like it has been fixed because it worked before the patch like you said. I had this glitch on my Bishop (I think it was in 2010), I haven't played my Bishop for awhile other then just HS mule.

I had my Bishop with me for HS at Papulatus (I am sure the Exp ratio was that time still 80:20) and so I didn't touch my Bishop while I kb'd Papulatus to the other side, and the 1/1 took my Bishops HP/MP down and the pet didn't use a Potion, so I had to manually press the potion. I tested the Auto Potion on my other characters and it works totally fine.

On Bishop I went to touch normal mobs and the auto pot does work, but I don't know why it doesn't work when a 1/1 happens.

I never used an Auto Pot before on any other class other than my Bishop (back then when Genesis was spammable) untill much later they released the permanent Auto Pot I decided to get them for all my other accounts. I know I have heard many times before how the Auto Pot fails and it causes so many deaths especially for jobs with low HP. And it's true that it is risky for low HP classes once it doesn't auto pot for you.

But if you know why it doesn't work, the risk for dying will be reduced slightly.

I went to Papulatus on my Bowmaster, on that character I found out why Auto Pot glitches sometimes. Thats because when you use Buff Skills, you pressed a potion (for example if you only have Auto HP and have to manually press MP potion), or some certain skills (non-attack skills) you have pressed while Auto Pot needed to use a potion, because of this your Auto Pot won't use the potion.

Using attack skills its totally fine with Auto Pot, it always used the potion for me.
Lower the alert a little maybe? The auto hp heals the instant your hp goes below the alert but does not actively check if it's already below. I set mine at around 40% and it heals 1/1 attacks fine (about 99/100 times, watch out for the 1% where it glitches)
