They're not as bad as people make it out to be, but there's quite a bit of backtracking. Drops aren't that great (Lv110 weapons, Legends/Grand Amethysian Maple armors[some of them giving trait exp], Unripe Onyx Apples, pots, and a small chance for a Master Craftsman's Cube.), but the exp is decent. You can solo it with pretty much a 1-1 range as long as you can take a hit, as he doesn't have any gimmicks or timer, just somewhat strong attacks + Magic Cancel + the occasional Stun/Seal.

Only other high-exp boss I can think of is Krexel, but he has a long prequests, although half of it is worth it, because you get a badge through it.
