My mind was blown today

I just found out where "Zipangu" gets it's name from. Apparently, the "early Mandarin Chinese or possibly Wu Chinese word for Japan was recorded as Chipangu." Later on, the article (on Wikipedia, under "Names of Japan&quot, also says it's sometimes called "Jipangu."

There it is. Zipangu=Cipangu/Zipangu!

What do you guys think?

Sorry I didn't post the link. I don't have enough feedback to be able to do so.

It eventually came to be "ri ben" in Mandarin. Ri sounds like the ge in Moulin Rouge and Ben kinda sounds like bun or ben.
