Typing and Keyboards
Hiya basil. I have a couple of mechanical keyboards and was just wondering, because I know that some MMO and RTS players as well as most serious typists use mechanical keyboards, how many Maplers do and their proficiency.
Yes, Maplestory hardly requires a great keyboard to play, but I assume that quite a few players play other games, like League, SC2, etc.
So pretty much, I wanted to ask all basilers which keyboard they used, which format (Dvorak, QWERTY, AZERTY, etc.), and their general typing speed in wpm.
Hope to have some respondents!

Just a regular laptop QWERTY keyboard. Typing tests put me at ~100 wpm, but I can certainly type faster when I'm writing essays or taking notes for classes.

This, but I usually average around 140-ish wpm.

QWERTY, standard Vaio keyboard that came with my old computer. The keys are big and clunky and I adore it.

I use the Quickfire TK with MX blues, as well as just a plain scissor-style laptop keyboard.
@DrCrane; How do you like the Razer? I had a chance to try it out and apparently the actuation is 40g vs 45g on mine, but I heard some bad things about the quality control and this was cheaper.
@eztokillyou: Oh boy, my other keyboard was a Corsair K60 with MX red; I was so incredibly inaccurate at first, and it's great for playing RTS but bad for typing.

my wpm is probably over 100wpm. i took many of those tests, and they seem to vary a lot o.o but i usually get well over 100 and 115+
i'm using a corsair vengeance k90, cherry mx red. I type around 100 words per minute
I use a qwerty keyboard that came built in to my laptop though I messed with the registry and switched a few keys around
my wpm is around 70 iirc
I don't use keyboards
