I know that. Read my post again.
I quoted the person who only mentioned he will accept the box for Safety Charms and Potions. It might mean he got maxed out inventory slots. So why waste it if you could use it on a different character and transfer over the Safety Charms?
Same applies for my NL. I only need Set-Up slots on it but I don't want the coupons to go to waste so I rather get the box on a different character, so that character can benefit from all the coupons. And I will most likely transfer over my Safety Charms (which I can with the upcoming Transfer Event).

It is only one box per account, so you can't open it on multiple characters on the same account and trade it.

Your character maxed out inventory slots? You could accept the box on a different character and transfer Safety Charm over to your main with the upcoming Cash Shop transfer event on the 7th of May.
