If our mind is really all there is in existence then everything else is just a simulation from our brain. Sleeping could just be a buffer used to load the next day's events and calculate all the effects of the previous day. This could be why when we are sleep deprived we function much more sluggishly because the brain is allocating its processing power to load further into the future in real time. It could also be the reason why we hallucinate when we are really sleep deprived because the brain isn't able to keep up with the loading process thus its generating glitchier and more unstable future. copypasta

Ok I admit it. I'm not a real boy and OP made me up!
I like the idea, but the first point is the only one that makes sense, really.
No man this is a dumb idea.
If this all just is a simulation that our brains made then we should be very thankful we have a brain capable of doing that without us even trying. Keep on going because we never really know what will happen if we stop.
Yeah, but how can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't.
