A Guide to Quitting MapleStory

I'm sure this is the last thing most of you want to read, but if you are looking for a way to quit, and for good, here's a few simple steps, (Or common ones) to do so.
Plus, I have free time to write this, so why not?

1.) Fill your cup with something else.

-I guess this is a really common theory, but, the most easiest way to rid MS from your soul is to, well, find something else that consumes your time, or, "fill your cup."
MapleStory filled your cup up, but now it's time to find something that fills it, and replaces maplestory.

2.) The 3 Day Treament

-This is actually a smokers technique to quitting, the 3 day treatment. First day will be hell. Second day won't be bad, and third day won't feel like a thing. (To the average person.) This is much easier to do with something else, well, to do.

3.) Comfort

-This may sound absurd, but, for most maplers that quit, they end up coming back. Hell, a good % mostly do. (Nexon brainwashed you)
To fight this, leave Maple on your computer. Don't delete it, don't give your equips/mesos away. Keep it. It's a comforting factor knowing you can come back whenever you want. You have the materials to do so, which will leave you off of Maple. Deleting and or blocking it will only tempt you later on into re-downloading it just to see what is happening.

4.) Let it run its course.

-MapleStory, no doubt will get boring for you. You've done everything and it just sucks to play. Stop going on Maple, and walla, you'll be doing other things for the time being, until Maple suddenly becomes apart of your life again.

5.) Don't make a fool of yourself when you announce your OFFICIAL Quit

-Oh god do I hate these. As I like to call them, Q_Q fests. (Har Har) I only dislike them because they end up coming back 2 days right after, with a petty excuse. (A, they didn't have a thing to do and failed at a quitting attempt.) When you REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want to quit, do it secretly and in solitude. Tell your BEST friends about it, if they have a heart they'll understand you've grown out of the game. Exchange Skype's or w/e if you really want to keep in touch. Just don't make a huge deal about it, once it's all done, just quit the game. That's it. Don't come back on. No one knows, people forget, and you won't have that, "Oh god I made people sad" conscience on your mind.

Well these are my tips and techniques. Use them wisely I suppose.

People don't need a guide to quit. If they can't quit, they don't want to, so they can say "Yeaah i'm quitting maple, bye everyone", but actually they don't. Who cares.
These are mostly tips to help someone quit maplestory. You never know, some people really have a hard time quitting the game, and I hope these tips will be valuable to those people.
If they can't quit, they don't have anything else to do. that's as simple as that. Or, as you said, they don't want to.
No, no one needs a guide to quit a game, but some people do need tips.
