Global Maplestory 2 - Is it coming or nah?
Howdy all,
Been a while since I posted here but I was wondering has there been any speak on if/when Maplestory 2 will be coming to the Americas or anywhere else (other than China)?
It kind of seems like MS2 wasn't as popular as they were hoping and it seems as if its not coming to GMS2 at all..

There's a reddit page dedicated to ms 2. Any updates or news on it for gms or even kms (I think) would likely be posted there.

Idk, I doubt people will want to transfer games. It'd divide the gms playerbase too much.

I wasn't talking about the graphics;I meant it seemed like a crappy game.
And it doesn't seem to be very popular and Nexon isn't devoting a lot of resources to it.
I will be very surprised if it actually comes to the US.
I predict that all the translations are finished and localizing it would only take a matter of weeks.
However, why would they?
Maplestory1 brings nexon the big bucks (we all know that loser who spent 300 on marvel).
Maplestory2 will For Sure come out once maplestory hits an all time low in revenue, yes it's low now but plenty of people still pay for it (i hope they keep paying just so I don't have to)
@littletlk: Just bc you think it looks like crap doesn't mean the game will shut down lmao. Actually tons of games out there that look like garbage and are doing well. Vice Versa there have been games with the best graphics and play like garbage so it isn't always graphics that makes the game. Kids these days who only think that games should have the best graphics of all time. Probably never understood what a true game is like. Games that don't require graphics to be good.
OT: MapleStory in general is getting a bit dull now. The popularity is dying out for the whole genre. The game will most likely come out still but probably not till Winter or maybe even next Spring. It's already entered beta in China so if other servers are getting the game. It's most likely will hit GMS sooner or later. I played CBT and the game isn't that bad. Despite how the graphics arn't the best out there the gameplay is far better than MS1 is that's for sure. It's an actual mmo with a sandbox feel to it. Problem is the content has been lacking I hear and they are starting to go the MS1 route by releasing lots of classes.
It seems pretty impossible and bizarre if they remove maplestory; they lose their source of income.

Probably not, and I won't be playing it regardless haha.
It honestly looks like crap.
I wouldn't be surprised if they shut down MS2 by the end of the year.
