Dualblade

Thief class

Hello

With around 15b funding which of these would deal the highest dmg? In terms of gameplay I like them equally much, just hard to decide . I will most likely scroll my own claw or dagger either way.

Thanks

Rogue

15b and below NL for sure. If you get to be godly rich dual blades win.

with 15b you`ll get more out of a NL
NLs have higher damage, but fewer attacks per second
DBs are the opposite
if you do not care about damage, then all you need to look at is the skill animation, and the fact that one is ranged and one is melee

I'd go NL.

I just find DB to be the sort of "give the people what they want" version of shadowers. Dual wielding daggers (IMO kataras look awkward as hell, especially when standing still, they dropped the ball on this), bunch of hits in every attack, crazy flashy animations, etc.

@Tigerzeps In terms of NL's/Db's: NL's should have the greater range multi, their skills also have higher base % damage aswell with the bonus from mark. In my opinion though I prefer to Play my Dualblade, in terms of play style and certain bosses. With a proper amount of funding Dualblades hit pretty hard, also with the bonus of Si+Green pot your speed is pretty much god like. The hardest current boss for a Dualblader where Night lords actually excel would be gollux. Other than that, bosses Like cPierre Dualblades would do better. In terms of capping Dualblades hit 595m per Phantom blow where as Night Lords would only hit about 340m, Dualblades also have the ability to 100% Crit with the help of Mirror target(shadow meld), but yea I "prefer" a Dual Blade over an NL. Once you get over the fact that Blade furry still sounds like Sudden raid..
Neither, wait till NW release.
Then, quit NW due to the '' massive nerf, '' and make the newest class 'til it gets nerf'd, then make the highest DPS class and quit it when Nexon decides to nerf it as well. Repeat until Maplestory closes down.

Night lord is better and this is coming from a semi funded DB

Let's see, Night lords - Lords of the dam night!

Dual blades - Thing about them is that they can wield two blades, so what? my shadower can also do that, infact, any thief can just get a khanjar/dragon khanjar and do that.

NL are the correct choice

@Tigerzeps: I didn't mean it like that. I actually don't like playing shadower either, but I'm already too consumed in the funding so I choose not to job change.

The reason why I left out shadower is because I don't like playing a shadower...
Scram, you don't deserve to play a NL. Go play a DB.
You could possibly just wait until the end of the month and play a Night Walker. They're really good.

shadowers would do a decent amount more than a db with the same funding
