i HATE this event
first off i spend a good god damn hour and a half at skeletion soldiers looking for a maple dark mate and i dont find ANYTHING so then i try this stupid balloon pq thing and no matter what the heck i do my team always loses to some stupid arrogant other team. i hate being an archer in this stupid event because i feel like im at a crazy disadvantage. someone tell me what to do to be better at this stupid crap.

cause the dagger was a nice one with over average stats?
Its harder if your low level, but if you have a decent level character around 95+ go to sage cats, they drop 5 different kinds of lv64 maple items and the spawn is quite good.
In about an hour of hunting i found something like 7 items. Also if your 127+ go to werewolves, they drop about 5 different pyrope weapons. I found 9 in about an hour and twenty minutes. Try not to time yourself, just kill, think of it as training and if you get an item its just a bonus.

Stop worrying about how good you are at the event. I spent 4 hours doing the puzzle quest and it gave 20 mana elixirs. Then another 2 hours looking for a pyrope dagger that I never found. So stop worrying so much over the event and go do what you normally would. Price on the maple weapons will drop dramatically anyway considering the event isn't over until mid june
