Getting hacked from linking accounts
Many people are saying how they got hacked right after they linked their maplestory account to Maplestory Facebook adventures. Is it even possible? Thanks in Advance.

Many people are saying how they got hacked right after they linked their maplestory account to Maplestory Facebook adventures. Is it even possible? Thanks in Advance.

I really hope I don't get hacked.
My friend got hacked a while after linking his accounts. I don't know if this is 100% true, but you shouldn't take the risk either way.
I can't seem to link my account, when I enter my infos nothing happens.. is anyone else having the same problem?
I linked mine the day it was announced and nothing's happened to me so far.

I don't know if this is relevant but I just logged on my main and i lost all my mesos ( they left me with 4 mil) and my chairs,all my scrolls and my evo rings. (1 and 2)

impossible to get hacked and people making rumours are idiots. even if they did keylog you it is only the password and id, your pic cant be bypassed.
Apparently, I'm a victim of the hacking.
Funny thing is, I DID NOT give my acc/pass/pin to anyone, I DID NOT go to keylogging websites, and most importantly, I DID NOT go to FB to play MSA!
i hear that the ones that recieve the mesos and the exp are safe but the ones that don't gets hacked
I've actually linked my account to the Facebook game like 4-5 days ago. I've been receiving daily rewards ingame and haven't been hacked yet so ...
Plus, the bonus isn't really that much. For me, being a Lv 133 Bowmaster, I only get about 75k-100k Mesos and around 90k-150k EXP.
@iLike2Giggity ; I see that when I log onto your main character (the one you selected as your main on the website), a notification will pop up saying you recieved XX experience and XX mesos.
I've yet to get hacked.

I get like 50k and 120k exp. So it's pretty guud.

OT: It's very easy to get someones FB information, I'm not sure if that would get you their Maplestory information, what what ever.

This. However I never even heard of this facebook linking event but I still wouldn't have done it if I had the choice.

All I know is that when it asked me for my Maple ID and password on the Facebook page I hit the CANCEL button as quickly as I could.
NO WAY I'm going to give that info to ANY Facebook page.
It's not worth whatever untradable elixirs they might be handing out.
