How to play percussion on guitar while playing a note?

How would I play a percussion while plucking the high E, B, or G sting(s)?
I always have a delay between the two(percussion then playing the notes)

Ahhh I see what you're talking about. That stuff is pretty simple imo. Well in order to do it there is a technique called "nail attack" you can look up from tutorials about it.
Basically, what you do is that you use your index finger to "attack" the high strings and you slap at the same time with your thumb.
It might seem off at first, but if you want to see how it is like just flick your index finger just like how you flick a person, object, etc.
To practice without the guitar just flick onto a table and have your thumb slap it at the same time, and to apply this on the guitar just move your fingers in the same motion just don't scrape your index finger off your thumb.
This is pretty hard to explain on words but if you want I can send you a video of demonstration of it.

grow a third hand no, idk. i don't have an acoustic and I'm assuming you've tried plucking and smacking your palm against the guitar at the same time, except in a different position so i've really got nothing for ya :[
