Shadow Merchant pre quest help
Hey everyone, in the past I completed the pre quests to find the shadow merchant in Heliseum, but now when I try entering the down town I can't. The message says something about Magus being in control so I can't enter. I know for a fact I completed these quests a few years ago since I have the elite Heliseum pirate cape that I bought from the shadow merchant in my inventory still.

I only have one quest in progress called "Man's best friend" which made me collect 50 horns or something. So I'll just continue this and see where it takes me. I'll post again if I'm still having trouble.

Ohh I didn't know that Kaiser / AB had different pre quests. I was looking at older threads on the same subject and someone listed all the quest names and I was not seeing anything that matched the quests I can do. Thanks for the info.
The pre-quest for Kaisers and Angelic Busters are different I believe, my friend has the same hard time.
@ToForgive You don't have to restart the whole prequest. You just need to continue where you left off. Check your quest log and find the Helisium quests and find where you left off and continue there. Forfeit the most recent quest you have still in-progress (when AB was released) so you can re-start that part and continue the prequest.

Do you mean the boss party search thing? It says I need to complete the quest to fight him. I know I did those quests back when Angelic Buster was first released. Who do I need to talk to in order to restart them then?
I don't know what the problem is but the first comment is incorrect. You can enter there without killing hard magnus.
Quick test to see if you have the prequests done or not. Go to boss teleport and attempt to boss teleport to normal magnus. If it doesn't let you, you haven't fully completed the prequest to allow you to magnus.
