Open Job Advancement
Aloha basil
So I have a night lord and they're fun but dying every time a monster hits me just isn't cutting it anymore sooo I planned to make an open job advancement. Which of the two remaining classes would you pick: Shad and DB and why?
Also, do dual blades still need skill books for phantom blow (skill books, not mastery books)
PS I'm mainly looking for a fun class to play that DOESN'T die every second, but a little damage never hurt anyone (haha get it...Im so funny)

Thanks everyone for the help, but where can I get a decent dagger for my level? (110)

no classes require Skill Books anymore. this includes Hero's Will.
Dbs are really fun for me and have a great varaety of skils. I would defetley pick db over the others

If dying is your problem, play Shadower. Meso Guard coupled with Shifter/High Avoid that thieves will ensure that you rarely die. Spend some time to get the Cygnus Vampire skill and you will never use an HP potion while training again. xD
Unless your NL is godly funded, you will probably be doing more damage on Shad than NL. However, the attack speed will be much slower. Was definitely something I had to get used to when I switched from NL to Shad (Before this open advancement business), but if you stick with it, Shad's are extremely fun. xD
My NL is not funded at all lmao its like early 100's which is why Im asking now, so that I dont have to pay more in the future.
If dying wasnt my problem, then would you still pick shad?
Shadowers are the tankiest thief
