Mixed Xenon questions

So I apologize in advance if there are already threads similar to this, but I didn't find any

Anywho I decided I wanted to put my money into a Xenon because I originally made it for the link skill but I actually had fun getting it to level 70, and I wanted to continue it. However before I dump my money into Xenon equips, what makes a xenon "fun" for people? I know everyone has different opinions on what makes a class fun, normally I like movement in my skills which is why I enjoyed dual blade and mercedes. I might think xenon is fun now but I don't want to put time into funding my xenon and then realize how boring it is, similar to what happened to my wind archer (standing there spamming 2 skills is not my cup of tea) and yes I realize there are two main skills in 4th job for xenon as well but because of modal shift I thought maybe its a bit more diverse.

Next question: Im really not great at making money, I am kinda slow compared to other people, so for equips, should I go straight for cRA or empress? I know most people would say cRA because of the set effect but like I said, Im slow so is it worth it? And if I do go for root abyss what are some decent equips for level 140 ish?

Mastery books-- do you guys recommend getting equips first and then mastery books or books then equips? (when I say mastery books I mean the 100% ones from Leafre)

And finally:
I also read that terminus is better than fafnir because of speed, but once again I suck at making money so should I just get terminus or faf?

Thankss sorry this is kind of a long thread and I appreciate your taking the time to read this

I like my xenon because of the mobility and how there are 3 different versions of most of the skills. It's also nice that xenon's are really easy to fund.

If your xenon is only at lvl 70 then I suggest you try to get him to at least 120 - 130 before you decide to main it. This way you get a feel for the class at 4th job. It's better to not rush into these things especially if you don't have a lot of mesos to spare.
@Axnslicer wait what 1b in a week?
Yep. I created a character in Renegades just on a whim and after just 8 hours I had something close to 300M.

I got full empress except shoulder for less than 200mil. Obv get mastery books first becase MPE equipts with 4-6% will last you up until empress

I would go for CRA equips because the xenon wep is very cheap and if you get pirate set its pretty cheap. I enjoy xenon just because of the mobility and diversity in skills with its close and long range attacks. With its model shift you have multiple skills to attack with and you use them for different training. Like you use sniper for bossing but not for training you would use the tank skill. Xenon has high mobility, variety of skills, great mobber and can put a high damage output much easier than other classes.

I really enjoy my Xenon for almost the same reason people say... I love the mobility and the variarty of the spells and you can switch between em.

also netting 1 bil per week if you really farm Elite bosses isn't to difficult

Snipe is very strong, considering it has the added in defense ignore and later you get a hyper passive that adds 10% more to that. Beam dance is also cool and has nice dps. Doing gollux is a piece of cake for xenon since all you need to do is beam dance in the center (easy and normal at least). Its pretty fun.
Also, my terminus whip was scrolled perfect and unique and i got a great deal on it for 4.5b, but if you have money problems don't even worry about terminus.

@MeerCats ha you're right about not being able to afford terminus I don't know what I was thinking...and yes, the only reason why I was wondering about foot 140 equips was because I wanted to be able to successfully solo dipq

@Axnslicer wait what 1b in a week?

I find Xenon a very diverse class, in terms of training and bossing. Because you have 3 skills from modal shift for each job, you really get a huge arsenal of moves. I will say however, once you hit 4th job, some of the skills you have will make the lower job skills pointless. Good news is that I find that each job modal shift still has at least one useful move you can still use in 4th job. Another thing that really got me excited was finding out you can use pinpoint salvo while beam dancing or while sniping. Essentially you can spam missles while also spamming your main attack, it really makes you feel like you're really pounding down bosses.

Basically every job spams a few powerful skills. You don't see anything more impressive than that until you get to bossing/can 1hko with weaker but faster moves.

I recommend that anyone thinking about funding a character wait until they at least have their important hypers, for Xenons that comes at level 150. Amaranth Generator makes it possible to have OOPArts up 100% of the time.

As for mesos, if you have trouble affording mastery books and CRA equips, you're doing something wrong. Even just randomly hunting elite bosses should easily net you 1 B a week.

Mastery books first.
Save up for cRA (Not like damage matters at 140 for anything but DiPQ solos)
Xenons are fun to me because of their variety of skills and mobility.
If you're worrying about not being able to afford cRA, you won't be able to afford Terminius.
