Don't get me wrong, I'm not some DotA fanboy that hates league or something, I'm just saying that league doesn't deserve to be in the olympics.
The olympics is screwed up man. They stopped support for doubles table tennis with the explanation that "It would be obvious that China would always take this medal". They limited the amount of entrants per country for singles to two, and changed doubles to "Teams".
Yet they're perfectly fine with basketball.

no bro. i play LoL. whether you believe me or not (its like how i play maple but bash it too) but thanks for making assumptions.
and yes. i think it's absurd a video game may get accepted into the olympics. i just think it would be more practical to place it in a worldwide gaming event, like the videogame olympics.
@tonytony40: Sorry, misread and thought you meant sports in general. I don't know about olympic business, but it has been recognized as a sport.

Riot has said themselves that it's real. I don't know about Olympic sports, but it's definitely true that the U.S. has recognized it. It's mostly for the purposes of getting foreign players into the country easier, dealing with visas.
