Whats Happening to Tyrants?

No one is buying them anymore! Plus, even when people make offers, the offers are completely bs (got one for my mage shoe for 500m). Is there something that caused the prices to drop? It's not like marvel is going on right now or anything

@TorfehMerci:

Oh, haha. Well, you could always make one yourself. These events come one after another nowadays.

you always get low as hell offers for godly items

for example, my 27% luk ring never got offers above 4b
finally sold it when hardlylexy bought it for 8b

A perfect fafnir whip? Hmm... That won't be easy if you're depending on good offers for your funds: there are no such things as "good offers" in Windia any longer, and I doubt it's much better in Scania.
Not a fafnir, if I pull that deal off...LOL. I meant an +10 empress whip.

Well, I got offered 200m on my Bowman tyrant shoes lolol..
I ended up selling it low, I guess. It's just too expensive for most players in the game, so yeah everyone's gonna offer low. When those people who are new but capable of putting large quantities of money into this game come back or appear in your server, you'll have your sales there probably.

Could be any number of reasons, like the ones listed in the thread already. It could also just be a surge of people trying to lowball and rip you off lol. Happens all the time really. I remember I got some really low offers before. My favorite is when they try to give you items for what you're selling insisting it's worth more than your item so it's win win for you, but when you tell them to just sell it and pay in mesos they never come back with mesos, even when you wait weeks, they just ask if you changed your mind on the items. Just keep trying to sell it and eventually someone that actually wants to buy it for the right price, will see it.
You know in Red update you can buy Tyrants from the Event NPC right? This may also be a reason why people aren't buying anymore.
What are you talking about? Can you post a link proving that?

I saw this video from another basiler posting it.
Im not sure if this real or fake, but it might be this reason.
I remember when I saw those tyrant coupons in the extractions on southperry, the first thing that poped in my mind was "this is gonna get exploited". Once an item is released in the extraction, anybody can item gen it.

@TorfehMerci: The price at which people won't buy anymore, which is the current price, which is different from world to world. So you could probably go to ur nearest fm 1, and check.
It's most likely just a stupid coincidence. Just be patient. Although there is truth in what the people in this thread are saying, it's a very, very, very exaggerated truth; deflation does not happen that fast, nor does it happen in such a widespread manner. I've gotten dumb offers myself, so don't worry.
The thing is I wan't to get enough mesos to afford a perfect whip, and with the unleashed store leaving soon, prices will go up.
Example: 500 people who need tyrants, total of 1500 tyrant pieces
1st marvel release > 100 people buy one tyrant piece each
2nd release > 300 people buy another piece
3rd release > 200 people buy another piece
Double marvel > 500 people buy a piece
4th release > 200 people buy a piece
5th release > 200 people buy a piece

6th release? Nobody wants it. Price drops
27th release > everybody has tyrant, tyrant becomes worthless 100m a piece
But you can't forget about new incoming players and people making new characters

The people that can afford them have them already.

It's the opposite for me.
I want to buy a thief belt or shoe, but the prices raised and no one will take my offers for what they were worth during marvel.
Prices should have raised by now, so I'm not sure why your shoe seems less valuable. Maybe there's a lack of mages.
