:/ ....ok. you know how some bosses/monsters can cause you to loose accuracy, or bind you, or slow you, or affect you with some skill? That abnormal status resistance basically adds to you being able to "evade" those skills at a certain rate. That's the pro to status resistance. The only issue is you have to see whether you want a character to havr that skill link or not (because there are currently more than 12 skill links and any 1 character may have only up to 12 links on one character at a time)
It helps against bosses that give you an abnormal status. Not sure if it lessens the chance you get the status or lessens the time you are affected by it. I dont know the specifics but I think it helps against seduce, stuns, etc.
Important if you boss. Makes you resist stun and seduce etc
