Maplestory Mining Profession Problem
Hey guys, so I got onto Tespia and decided to try out mining. In the couple of attempts to mine crystals, it worked. However, after those few tries, my mining seems to always fail. Anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening?

@Nimaah: The Black Veins. I usually find 1 in each map in Leafre.
They either give black crystals, or dark crystals.

Question, whats the best place to mine at?
It might be that the rocks you are trying to mine are too "high level" It seems to me that the names of plants (at least, since I'm an alchemist) are either in white, yellow, green or red text. If something is in red text I tend to have a lot more failures than if I had tried to harvest something that was white. Try mining smaller ores and see if your success rate improves.

@trix4sta: If you fail mining, it's because there was no ores to collect from the rock to begin with. Mining is all about luck. There will be times when you'll collect ores and other times when you don't collect anything at all. Pressing the mining button repeatedly while your character is already mining, does not affect its success at all (nothing happens). The only time where you would find your mining to be interrupted is if you move.
Try mining at other maps and see if you can get anything at all. If not, send a bug/glitch report.
@wallywaffles: staying still is not a problem since you have 100% stance when mining as I experienced.
@kaiman: I might if the problem worsens as to where I can't mine any ores at all.

@Zyanid: No, I mean every time I mine, I keep failing to collect the materials successfully, plus you don't press the space bar to mine, you press whatever key your NPC chat is on.
@trix4sta: Well dark crystals are big crystals, the bigger ones have higher fail rate
Well when I mined it was slow so be patine and go closer to the rocks and press spacebar

Well, I have no problems with fatigue since I always reset it every now and then, but my mining just keeps failing.
