I have a tablet pc and osu seems to work fine with the touch screen but using it seems a bit overpowered to me.

I have a tablet pc and osu seems to work fine with the touch screen but using it seems a bit overpowered to me.

l think it's perfectly fine, and also more fun (when l play on my iPod touch).
But definitely, over time, you'll realize using your mouse to play will definitely be faster than moving your hands.

it definitely isn't cheating though
Way too tedious later on, rather use tablet+keyboard.
It's not cheating. Seems interesting, I'd actually like to try it out.

Won't there be to much drag when you moving across the touch screen? Or are you allowed to float.

Yea I can where you guys are coming from. Touchscreen does get really difficult to use in the harder beat maps.
I don't think it's cheating. I can't even do most songs over extreme with my mouse lol
It's a viable method to play, but when you start playing difficulties over Insane/Lunatic you'll realise that the touchscreen is no where near 'overpowered'.
SapphireGhost uses a touch screen + keyboard its allowed.

A lot of my friends use drawing tablets for osu, which is a similar experience albeit with more hand-eye coordination than a touchscreen.

Oh really? I'm using mouse and keyboard since I thought using touchscreen seems too easy haha.
