questions about cannoneers and mechs

Firstly would some of you say cannoneers are the mobile mechs?
Should I wait till the patch to make a mech?
Do you have to be funded to do sum real dmg on mech?
Mechs- umm those mech items like golden foot or w.e..what are those.can you make a robot out of that?
Bullets..do they use it?

Cannoneers- I'm lvl131 and my cannon barrage (if its called that. The 5x dmg) does 125k-150k dmg..
Is that okay dmg? I forgot my range on him lol.
Cannoneers-what's a midly funded cannoneers range at 120+?
