can you get in legal trouble for selling replica items?
hey basil, my friend owed me money, and gave me a pair of dre beats headphone studio edition still in the box, wrapped around with the clear wrap. they looked legit, and looked brand new. i sold them on craigslist today for 125$, and the guy blew my phone up. i just ignored it but he claimed they were fake ect.
i asked my friend he said they were. could i get in legal trouble for this or no?

Say it's real, but not real Beats. Because anything physical/tangible is real.
It's all in the context.
Don't worry about it, they're probably better sound quality anyway.

I think you have more troubling matters to worry about than just legal troubles....[/quote]
Clearly English is not your main language
When someone says "he blew my phone up" it means the other party is calling, texting and/or leaving voice-mails nonstop like crazy
well, alright thanks guys!
Run. Flee the country.
He's gonna hunt you down
@TylerBREW: I believe you should have a conversation with him about this and maybe let him have a refund because if he really cared about it that much he could take you
to court but I doubt he would make much money out of you
selling fake items is against the law. Why do you think we hear about these fake designer hand bag busts all the time?
You can't says its real.
@chema no i did not.
@replytranie lol.
@daghettoboy on craigslist, i just put beats by dre studio. thats all i didnt say they were real, nor fake. he opened them infront of me and gave me the cash.
Yes and No
If you say that its legit when it's actually a fake than you could get into plenty of legal trouble like fraud and copyright violation
but
if you say that its fake and its like a A or AAA class replica then you can sell but you can't say its legit
Did you give out any receipt?
