Khani Economy Help

Hello fellow Basilers!

As many of you know, Maplestory in general has been slowly declining (especially economically). The world of Khani has especially taken a hard hit. So I am wondering is there a way to make some money with NX? I know the only typical way would be to sell perm nx, but the economy is so dead that there aren't even any people in the Free Market entrance. Anyone have any idea on how to make some mulah? I want to have an open job advance from Bishop to F/P mage, but also to fund some of my characters with %str and % INT gear.

Thanks for any help Basilers!
Don't waste your money on NX. Just boss and you'll make at least 10m a day if you can do Normal Zak (2 times), Normal Mori Ranmaru (2 times), Easy Magnus (1 time) , Easy Von Leon (1 time), Normal Hilla (2 times), and Normal Horntail (2 times).
I'd go mad if I didn't supplement some NX into my regular money-making routine. If I made 10m daily on average from bossing, thats only around 300m, which is roughly $1.50 worth of NX at 1:200 ratio. In almost every case, most people will go for NX over normal money-making methods because it's just more efficient. People nowadays are realizing that spending pointless hours making little money could easily be made with a tiny bit on NX.

Aside from that point, I do agree that NX isn't the only way to make money, bossing can easily pull in a lot if you do it on all of your characters each day. Hell, even I make on average 75m a day just from doing daily boss runs on all of my characters, if I'm not tired or exhausted from working that day.

Yes, this is a problem that I've noticed since miracle time. The truth is you can't fix something like this. Throughout the past year now i believe (not completely accurate) hackers have been able to successful monopolies abundance of clean slate scrolls and sell them at prices people are willing to buy leading to a massive perfection of things such as gollux equips, which have been really popular to perfect and sell. This leads to tougher market competition where you get undercuts. As you mentioned before cash shop equips being one of them, gollux, tyrants, and fafnir/root abyss set, the 3 other prime sources of income, are also suffering. The reason for this is simple because so many people are getting stronger which was bound to happen. So, a large portion the mesos we had belong to hackers/botters now and will continue to so long as they have the css we need and so long as we continue to undercut. Its a circulation that will repeat until nexon adds in a new factor (next maple anniversary I'm hoping). Sorry for not being very helpful but this is something where the only thing you can do is wait and let the market slowly fix itself once people realize you can only undercut so much. In the end the it just breaks down to "spend real money"

Maple's economy is in a capitalistic state. The rich and greedy (funded) people stay rich and greedy by controlling the market and never sharing with the poor. And that's good because if EVERYONE was rich then the economy would collapse. Prices would drop to extreme lows because everyone would be rich and can boss.

If you can't handle the current economy, then find a way to change it. For me, I try to create buyer and seller confidence through my guild and alliance. I start with helping my guild members better themselves. It could be as simple as suggesting to them what to buy and what not to buy, what to sell and for how much or how to go about negotiating certain transactions. It not only helps them in the long run, but it also helps drive sales within your sector as well as the rest of the community.

A good example would be if a guild member bought some NX and is looking to turn that into mesos, I would suggest to them some of my trusted buyers. Not only is that giving them a head start on money making, but it is only giving the NX buyers new and trusted sellers on my side, so it's a win win situation.

I have been in Khani since 2008. I have all my link skills in Khani. I don't want to restart, nor do I want to abandon my world. Besides Nexon did say a world merge would come "soon." as ambiguous as that can be, it is something to be hopeful for. I just need a little guidance on making money.
