Visa for going to the Uk

Hello Basilmarket!
I was wondering about the current process for the visa application, or if I even need one at all.
https://www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa/y/usa/tourism]Official British Consulate Page , this side, the official British consulate website of NY, states that I do not require one, but I should still bring the same documents I would use if I were to apply. However, I do not know what to bring.
I am a 16 year old traveling with my 17 year old brother to the UK, for only a month and staying with family.

They won't pick up their phones either....

Oh, I recently applied for a Visa to go to China at NYC haha. In my situation, I needed a visa application (make sure you have the up to date one) and afterwards you simply give them your visa application and your passport. I'm 17 and traveling alone so I don't know if it's different but I would bring a visa application just in case.

Honestly if you're traveling to a consulate bring as many papers are you can, I don't have the time to go through the site at this moment but there's never too many papers but always too little so make sure you have as much proof as possible to prove that you're just here for a visit and not to here to secretly stay, they'll be over suspicious because it's their job so bring all you can.
