AP Biology help!
I am doing an AP lab on Mitosis and Meiosis and I need help with some questions.
1) Explain how Mitosis lead to 2 new daughter cells.
I am thinking that it is through Binary Fisson because during Binary Fission DNA is copied and attaches to the cell membrane, the cell doubles in size and the cell divides;each cell gets DNA
2)How does Mitosis differ in plant and animal cells? How does plant mitosis accommodate a rigid, inflexible grid?
3)List 3 MAJOR differences between the EVENTS of mitosis and meiosis

Can you guys help me with number one and the second part to number to is this right?
the vesicles line up at the equator and they fuse to form 2 cell membranes and the new cell wall fuses with the old cell wall
1. Since DNA/organelles are replicated/distributed evenly, and cytokinesis pinches the cell into 2, two daughter cells are formed (I only had to memorize what happened in mitosis/meiosis, and my book sucked at explaining some stuff, so this explanation MIGHT suck)
2. Formation of a cell plate.
3.
Meiosis has:
-Crossing over
-2 stages of cell division
-Formation of haploid cells
I can't find number one..Can u please just tell me
I'm in AP biology too but I'm not on this unit yet! I'm doing respiratory system! xD my post is utterly pointless lmaoo
That is what regular bio is learning right now
Wait so is number one like interphase etc? And number two is it that in plants a cleavage furrow forms while a cell plate forms for plants
