Merching - Creating a capital for merching
yes, we all heard the one magical answer to merching and getting funded: buy cheap, sell expensive.
But a lot of players, including myself, have trouble finding a way to make enough money initially to start the merching process.
So I would like to ask you, the community of basilmarket, how did you start off, and what did you start buying/selling after that

I use to kill the fish market boss and gather up the scrolls it dropped. I then sold them and kept doing this until I had enough for a shop permit.
Back then mining could make you about 10-15 mil (mining bronze and adamantium plates then selling them) a day since you couldn't buy them off an NPC back then.
Crafting is a good option as well. I use to spend about 200-500k to craft a ton of belts, then I sold the 4% stat ones I got for 15mil or so. I remember being able to sell them for 30mil each at one point as well, but that was because some classes were revamped or something like that.
