I believe blazes drop them too. its just the spawn is so low in that map its not really efficient.
Okay, thanks! I guess I'll try grinding there for a bit then.
I'm pretty sure they do. My friend was hunting for that recipe there and found one...after a few...hours.
Mutant Tiguru drops a Timeless Prelude recipe, but that's about all of the shield recipes from the 3
If the Codex shows it as a drop, then it drops from them.
I think crafting/winning is the only way to get the shield.
