Anyone ever think they had an easy drop transfer then DC, and not be able to login for just long enough to lose your items?
Because if that happened to me I would crai.
No, you still can. Try asking a trusted guild member or friend. If not, try transferring in an uncommon map.
when did they lower the time down to 1 minute?
Ah well, it was just a clean empress 1h sword. At least it wasn't something really expensive.
They lowerd the time from 5 minutes to 1 minute
Unfortunately I learned this the hard way
I believe it used to be 3 minutes before an item disappeared but they changed that. You have to do the transfer really fast. Try having both characters in the same map, drop the item, and switch accounts.

Yea the reduced the time for items on the ground. I lost some rare books that way. twas tragic.

Ah damn. It was the middle of nowhere in Pantheon's noob place. Well that sucks. I think it's more likely that it just disappeared...
Items don't last that long sadly.
