@carbonium: One of the devs twitter out that despite the different settings you can choose in the menu, the beta client is basically locked at medium settings since they didn't add in all the extra textures and stuff used for high settings in order to keep the download smaller.

@CrownedSorrow: basically no problems at all except when I try to get in to the Caspian Border map. There are some bugs (obviously) and some texture issues, but other than that, it runs like a less buggy version of the Alpha.

Hmms, it should come with it. Go run---> dxdiag and click ok then check if you're on DX 11

I have recently discovered that I don't have the 10.1+ DirectX version. Even though, I'm running on a 64bit Windows 7 (I thought DirectX 11 was suppose to come with it). Tried to download it, didn't work. Gonna have to call a technician or something, so I might not even be able to play the Beta . Hope I could still play in one of the last days, but I doubt I will. Just gonna watch videos in 1080p fullscreen on YouTube pretending I'm playing.

How to get into Caspian servers

Use Google Chrome as your default browser
Start BF battlelog server browser

Hit SHIFT+CRTL+J

copy and then paste:
launcher.verifyPassword = function(game, gameServerGuid, plaintextPassword, callback) { callback(true); }

press enter

select server - don't enter a password - i.e. leave password field blank -

go play! without the need for any password

Now all you need to do is find an Open slot to get into a server. But don't fret because there is usually an 0/64 server opened up every ten minutes or so.

The graphics doesn't matter for now as it is nerfed as stated by DICE to compress to beta file to be smaller.

If you're on PS3 and can't download the beta, then make a new account and make your region somewhere in europe. Then once youre done making the account download the beta from the PS store because Europe already has the beta. You can sign off and go on your main after youre done downloading.
