Ultimate Adventurer Shadower, Worth it?
Long story short, I played a bandit as my first character way before Pre BB in like 2006 and loved it, mainly because of SB.
I come back after ages and get a TB to 120 and find that bandits get FJ and SP which made me fall in love with them all over again.
If not that F/P was my other option only because Flame Gears and F/P seems to match better.
ANYWAY I WANT A SHAD POV GOGOGO.
Edit: Shad will be dexless and not very funded. Damage has never been a major issue for me because I know I'll never have the funds to get up there so I gave up trying.
Look more for just fun but sorta competitive as well (can kill a mob without needing help from like 3 people etc).

I will buy NX down the track if I feel I need the extra DEX, though from what I've read it seems obvious that STR will also be needed for 120+ weapons.

I'm sure Flame Gears is very used and thus "benefits", as for Vampire I think it's underestimated and the potential if you've got some nice overall damage is more than adequate, in any case you don't actually use it for the damage rather the drain so you obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

Getting a feel for the Bandit once again brought back some good memories.
Was just a bit disappointed to find I'd need to do Chryse all over again, and Chryse really isn't my favourite place especially the 4th time around.
Hopefully I can just power it out quickly to level 60 and stick it out at Jesters for the rest, but yeah, looking forward to level 70.
If you're going to be unfunded and dexless, making a UA Shad is the way to go. The empress outfit gives a good bonus stat and you can scroll it with 60%s. Ultimately, that gear will not be your end game gear, but it should last you for a while. Alternatively, you can get the Crimson Beryle set now for the set effect there, and hope to scroll it well with the anniversary scrolls. If obtaining the Crimson Beryl equipment is proving to be difficult, then just 60% them.
I would definitely say go for it, but just watch out about going dexless without much funding. I'm kinda reaping the benefits of having some kind of dex because i can barely wear certain good equipment yet until I go on a zrun and also get a hefty boost in extra dex. Either way, I'm still enjoying my UA CB right now, so I think you might also be able to still enjoy yours as well. I'll wish you luck!
Hunting Peridots took over 5 hours, that quest is absolute garbage and I hope to never make a KoC again.
Anyway, made my UA Bandit, really hope for my own sake it works out cos that quest was just absolute trash, whoever sat at nexon and decided to make a quest with loot 0.001% chance to drop needs to be kneecapped.

There aren't any other mobbing skills that are as useful as Band of Thieves after the revamp. Therefore, Vampire can most likely be used during the Boomerang Step delay. Other than that, you have Foreign Spell. However, the range of attack for Vampire is greater than Foreign Spell. Also, Sudden Raid (another mobbing attack) has a cool down of 30 seconds.

But yeah, UA Shads are incredibly fun, and vampire is really helpful since Chakra is getting removed. I think you should go for it.

Keyword is can* Vampire has its uses for Shads, especially since Chakra is removed.
UA Shadower's have an advantage because their vampire skill can also replace Band of Thieves (which gets removed after thief revamp). This is even more effective if your range is high enough of course.
