Newbie Soloing Zak
Hi guys
In the 6 years I've been on and off playing this game, I have not even encountered Zakum before. (Pzak doesn't count )
I plan on soloing (or maybe duoing with a friend) zak to get Final Blow, as I still don't have it at lvl 144.
I'm wondering if I can survive and kill him within the time limit with a fully buffed range of 36.5k (this is not including full combo, which it then rises to 40k) and an hp of 11.5k.
I have 10 sudden strike, 4 overswing, 0 final blow, max high mastery and afa with 10 freeze standing. I also have 10% boss from ds's link skill and 15% PDR. With cleaving blow, that puts it at 30% boss and 55% PDR.
So guys, will I be able to succesfully solo Zak?

20-25 minutes doesn't seem too bad, although I will probably be pairing up with my 149 Hero friend. Hopefully he won't spam weapon cancel a lot
Yeah, I've heard those horror stories of people not being able to get the book they wanted after 50+runs.
I believe any aran with 20k range can solo, when i soloed my first time i was lvl 141 with max freeze standing
If it's for a skill book you're going to have a tough time
Zaks Drop Rate has been decreased tremendously
lol.. i maxed out every single "need" skill possible excluding mw with around 35k range (fully buffed by myself), 30%boss and 55% pdr, and it took me 22 mins to solo
(yes, took me a long time but it was my first time)
I think you're gonna have a hard time dealing with knock-backs because of your freeze standing, and not your full damage due to low level of overswing. soloing i think it would take you around 20 ~ 25 mins if you're zak is as betchy as mine, which did constant 1/1, stun, skill lock, and attack-ignoring thing where you hit only 1.

Well, since you're missing a lot of your core skills not to mention freeze standing it would take you around 40 mins.
That top right arm is gunna torture you... </3
Ummm I think the character card sets contributes to my overall hp. Also I'm wearing 4/6 empress pieces (haven't updated my avatar yet) and one of the set bonuses I think had 15% hp and mp.
How do you have 11.5k hp? im also 144 with only 7.1k

You should have Overswing and Sudden strikes points mixed around but it's alright, you're good to go.
With my current range at 42k it takes me about 8 mins.
Since you have a slightly lower range and 10 freeze standing it should take around 15-20 mins.
The oly problem you face is the level 10 freeze standing. The top right arm will really irk you.
