Mercedes

Help funding a mercedes

I really like mercedes play style and am going to try to fund one. I'm not trying to be the godliest mercedes around, just a decent one. I've never really funded anything other than a dual blade so I have no idea what I should be trying to get. I'm thinking about pumping 30b or so into this character, so what would I be expecting? currently only have a 95% bossing arrow, and nothing else lol. Also my mercedes is level 120 currently. any tips? XD

I am personnaly at 385k buffed 117% boss and i do 3m on gollux, go for 200+ boss dmg because merc is only good at 1v1 honestly and boss dmg will serve you more
and its kind of the same as a phantom to fund

@RheeBreezy Buffed 306k range 150% boss 69% PDR gets me 2.5m on Hard Gollux with all hypers and ToC up (306k range, then add in hypers and ToC), so I dunno about 4 mill...
if you spend that 30b wisely, I think you would get at least up to 500k range. with 100% crit, you would hit up to 4mil with IR.
correct me if I'm wrong, anyone.
Would that be a buffed of clean range, also 4m on normal monsters or regular bosses?

@vi3tGirlv58:

I honestly don't know.

I would think it honestly comes down to what types of deals you're able to get. If you go for mainstream sets like root abyss/ tyrant/ superior gollux stuff, you'll be spending more funding wise and with limited funds will have a smaller damage output opposed to go with less main stream equips (sw, reinforced gollux, ect).

Link skills also can potentially make a difference with damage. If you have a kanna and demon avenger lv 2 link skill you're already at a 20% total damage advantage. A demonslayer will up your % boss by 15% at lv 2, a xenon adds 10% all stats, ect. To optimize damage output link skills/ the cygnus buff/ the highest level character buff are freebies that can also contribute to potential damage.

If anything, you'd hit higher by getting the majority of your equips rather than investing in a few good equips and slowly upgrading. Basically you'll need:

-a weapon (% att and boss are also ideal)
-a cubed emblem (mercs use the tier 2 one so this isn't a must right away)
-tyrant equips (at the least a 5 star charon cape. You can put off the others at first but will eventually want the shoes and belt *a scrolled superior gollux belt can replace a tyrant one for the time being but once/ if we get the enhancement update, a tyrant belt has more end game potential if enhanced*)
-root abyss equips (you can opt to go with the sw 4 set as well although this will depend on the types of deals you get with equips)
-a scrolled android heart for attack + a delux or special android
-superior/ reinforced gollux equips (rings, pends, earrings, possibly belt)
-accessories (shoulders, a few other rings, face, eye, a badge)

You may also consider bonus pot on weapons, nebs, scrolling everything

Take advantage of sales at shops when you see them. Sometimes certain equips are rare to come by on the market/ black market and you'll have to either self make something or use something else. Mercedes require a lot of funding for maximum damage output but if you spend the funds wisely, you may be able to get a sufficient set of equips for now and eventually upgrade as your source of funding grows.
Mercedes have great potential. Though the numbers shown may feel lower than a hard hitting class up until a certain point of funding, just keep in mind that your hits per second as well as the proc double hits from final attack accumulate damage rather fastish. I went from marksman to bm and it took a while to adjust to the damage difference (since marksmen hit 400mil hits) but after pumping more funding in, bossing has become faster and more fun (I really am all about those fast hit style attacks more so than just hard hitting damaging ones that are a bit slower and feel sluggish).
What kind of damage should I expect with 30b funding and a 95% bossing arrow

No, it's pretty average.
It's just that db is op.

Bossing is pretty fun on merc.
Don't expect a huge amount of damage.
You've just come from a db which hits super hard, so it might be a little hard for you to grasp mercedes' damage.
is mercedes damage really that bad?
