problems with my mom
I'm a typical female asian with strict parents and having problems. My mom really hates it when I hang out with my guy friends. We're true friends, nothing else. She only lets me hang out with them if my cousin comes along or other female friends. I tried having a talk with her, and gosh. She wouldn't stop yelling at me how "I'm a girl and girls can't be with guys." I'm like wtf, mom. It really hurts me a lot because most of my friends are guys. I also tell her that the guy's house I'm going to has a younger sister and I'm friends with her, but she replies, "who cares about her? she's just a sister." I tell her that she is a girl, and from what she was saying, that's not a problem. But she ignores that and continues to rant.
My dad's cool with it all since he knows them, but he follows my mom like a dog, so I can't really ask him to help me.
So yeah, I need help convincing her. thanks in advance, basilers. x_x
