Questions about trying out for basketball
Well, hi. I have a few questions.
My friends and I are planning on trying out for girl's freshman basketball, but the only thing we know is that you have to shoot a ball into baskets. We know literally nothing.
We're all short, around 5'2". Are there any positions that are decent for short people? We don't know what positions there are. We also don't know how exactly we try out for a position. -____-
We also don't care if we don't make it on the team. Just trying something new. We also have never played a sport before, so this'll be a new adventure...
TLDR:
Friends and I want to try out girl's freshman basketball. We don't know what the hell we're suppose to do since we're basketball noobs. What positions should short people take? We also have never played a sport.

You don't even know the sport you're trying out for, then whats the point? Do people feel that cool playing basketball?
well lets see if you're interested in playing basketball play with your friends at a park to practice work on basic drills
do dribbling,shooting at the free throw line,and cross over that should help you in bball
or watch michael jordan's vids in bball
i do x-country,bball,and track.
If you've never played a sport, I'll assume you don't have much stamina. And since BasketBall involes a lot of running, jumping, etc. I doubt you'll last more than 3 minutes. So it's highly likely you won't make it into the team. You should focus on increasing your stamina, and reading on how to play the sport first.
