Ti 84 C Se or Ti 84 Se?
Well, hello there everyone.
So yesterday, I just bought my first TI calculator without knowing anything about the calculator's version. I took the TI 84+ C SE and opened it at home. I thought it was pretty cool since there was color lol. This morning, I decided to look for games, a note program, and other useful programs that I might need online. There's like, barely any games on it and barely any useful programs, so I'm pretty disappointed in my purchase. Now, I'm wondering if I should return mine and just get the TI 84+ SE. I'm also going to use the TI calculator throughout high school and college, and possibly beyond that.
Also, please give your thoughts/reviews/opinions on the calculators! I would really appreciate it. Thanks a lot!

You bought it wanting to play games on it, are you serious
It's a graphing calculator, just use it as a calculator lol. I have the normal edition cause the Silver Edition was sold out, and it basically works the same. I'm not gonna put games on it or anything.
For anyone saying a higher series TI calculator is better, most post-secondary doesn't allow past a TI-83 or 84 cause the newer ones are too smart and can calculate too many things.
I'd personally say TI-89 Titanium is the best. Not too much tech/unnecessary stuff such as the Nspire, but still way better than 84
Yea the best calculator so far is the TI-Nspire, i got pokemon crystal on it and i play it from time to time. But it also calculates and stuff
Should have gone with the TI Nspire CX. I got one and im running pokemon and Mario Bros deluxe!
:o Thats cool! I used that in Geometry. However, it was teachers. Would you recommend that for Pre-calc? Since, my other calc broke because I fell right on top of it,cracking the screen.2
Well I got the Ti 89. It's so good. You can keep the roots without it going auto decimals. Very easy to double check if you simplify correctly. Not sure if it still banned but it is not allowed on the SAT. But usually the supervisor don't check the calculator. You can graph in 3D in your computer.
>buys expensive programmable calculator
>not a lot of games on it.
We all know where your priorities are so don't worry about college not that you will be allowed to use it on math exams anyway lol. You have to actually know what your doing in university and a shiny calculator wont cover up any weaknesses. A cheap scientific calculator is enough to last you all of university and after.
