I don't actually know the %/s of Dual blades, but I would think it's quite similar. If we're talking about reaching Max hits/s then it would be expensive to fund the class with the higher hits/s (in general terms since they have a lower% per line) but that's not your question.

You should also take into consideration that DB's have a second weapon to scroll.

I've never funded a luk% based character so I'm not making any judgments here but the way you worded your response just ticked me. That's all.

@voidam actually my brother's db has better items than my merc and my range is still higher than his (he has scrolled fafnir while i have clean faf)

db's have lower range than mercs

@elufu: I mean, is it not true? Sure %Luk is the most expensive in the game, but don't DBs have higher % and weapon multiplier, thus evening it out?

@flamepc is correct but
DB's need more investment to be funded but in return they'll produce more damage output than a merc.
So since you're asking for the cheapest to be funded, its more likely merc, + you should assume merc will be buffed in the future patches
