Cant train my hermit

How are you guys training your hermits up to NLs? Right now all I can do is use shade splitter to grind, and it's pretty weak for me. I'm not that funded at all, so that may be why. At RnJ PQ I die super easily to anything because I only have 2.5k health and all of the mobs do around 800 damage to me. How do I train this character, do I just need better equips or is there a better skill to use? Thanks!

I actually do have a DrK character card which is perfect for giving more health to my hermit. Thanks!

Do you have character cards? They usually give around 2-3k hp. Like the guy above said, once you start getting end game equips you get much more hp.

Thieves have low survivability at lower levels due to low def. and low hp. Once you get into end game range, its better.

Yeah that's what I did on my wind archer haha. Now a lot of the time I get the girl one. Is it normal to be taking this much damage as a hermit or am I just really bad?

Turn into the blonde vampire guy, which boosts your def so the rj mobs do 1 dmg to you. Make sure to keep picking up the vampire blood so you dont turn into the mutant vampire.

Just get purple senior equips (with +4% luk or higher, if lucky) and star enhance them with 70% luk scrolls. You have steelys? I do Cooking with Tangyoon PQ because it's easy to level from 70-80? and I want to look like a chef. Go to Ice Valley II in El Nath and train on the White Fangs there 60-70. They give ~600 exp each and there's a merchant there, so easy npc, then back to grinding. Then.. go back to R&J when you can OHK them (Level 85ish-100).
