Communities in other games also plummeted
I've tried playing Runescape again, and it was a bad experience. The game features have become better, but the community is extremely condescending. I could not even kill something in front of 2 people and not get comments about how that character is a noob and such. That was their only argument, along with things directly related to being a noob, such as not having much gold.
In maple, you can find people who you enjoy talking to. You can find a level 200 talking to a level 21 who just started playing. Not in Runescape's case. The higher level has to initiate the conversation, otherwise it's a constant flame storm.
Tldr (just incase): Runescape is similar to Maplestory in that the community has become worse.
Have you guys noticed the communities in other games became worse?

There are kind level 200s willing to help new players. Maybe not many, but there certainly are some.
