Does anyone play a bishop for damage too?
We all know bishops for the blessed holy symbol but does anyone actually fund it and play it to do damage. I was actually thinking about doing this but im insure if its good or worth it.
Any insight is welcomed!

I funded my bishop abit, nothing godly and even though it's abit slow i was able to solo in drill hall. Big bang does good dmg.
As you can see I am a bishop my buffed range without echo or AB link is 703806. Its doable and a lot of fun!

It's entertaining, and it's possible to do fairly well. I went ahead and switched between the three Archmages a little while back and ran Gollux for a very rough damage comparison: As a F/P, I could cap ME easily, as an I/L, just under ~20 million per line of CL, and as a Bishop, somewhere around 10 million per line of AR, or 15 per line of BB. As for Dojo times, I found Bishops to be the fastest, with F/P falling a few seconds behind, and I/L a good distance behind both. Of course, YMMV.

@immatrooper should definitely change into a bishop because he's so op.
I am about to get a faf staff soon, right now I am sitting at 100k range and my damage is not bad.
Funding a Bishop is like funding any other class, in the end, we are good for the end-game.

I had a friend that did, he was pretty damn strong.
Yes. There are several funded bishops out there that can dish out quite a bit.
I'm working on really funding my bishop, but even with a 179k clean range, I'm fairly satisfied with my damage~
You can fund any job and do damage, as long as you are happy playing the character. Bishops are actually pretty good with good equips, with angel ray doing 8 lines and fast attack speed, and big bang that also does high amount of damage with no cooldown. It has been done before, so I'm sure it works.
