Nightlord

Cannot put points into showdown

So apperently showdown is our main mobbing skill and we max it first however... After reaching 100 i find out that I need 10 points in shadowshifter first. Every guide says that I dont need to however. Is it gliched?
don't you end up maxing every skill by 200 anyways Oo?

and why wouldn't you put it in shadow shifter, nightlords have low hp, so having high avoidability is a must if you don't want to die every second.
yeah

As others have said, you need a pre-requisite of level 10 Shadow Shifter to unlock Taunt. It's not an inconvenience given that Shadow Shifter gives you 25% Dodge Rate at level 10, and Shade Split is still sufficient for training at places like Evolving World and Monster Park Extreme.

Shadow shifter is actually quite useful.

I didn't know that showdown was reworked and thought it was still the useless NL skill from years ago, so I ended up not getting it until 130. You'll be fine.

You cannot put points into it because you have not met the prerequisite of 10 points into shadow shifter. Just read the skill next time.

Wow that requirement still exist for the new showdown? Other than the outdated requirement since the day 4th job was created, is there another reason why a skill would require 10 sp in another skill in the same job advancement?
