Evo switched to 105+ , it doesn't start at 100 anymore
Gold beach switched level requirement as well, I believe it's at 30 or 35 now?
Tot's doesn't give free levels anymore, that was changed a while ago..
And one of the most updated guides shows copper drakes to be 45-60
I didn't put effort into my post because of the fact it'd be easier to just copy and paste from a search
Search Maplestory Training Guide Post Elite
Sorry about evo lab, I stay at r&j from 70-120 so I forget about the level requirements for it LEL
I start Gold Beach at level 38 because I finish Fairy Academy first and I hate hate hate hate 47-50 so I want to minimise grinding during those levels. Gold beach officially starts at level 35.
Tot gives 1 free level.
He's a thief. He will get hit lots and use many potions at Copper Drakes. If you do theme dungeons, you get exp from walking around and you won't have to use so many potions. Theme dungeons also give capes and face accessories.

20-30 Train at surgeon eyes
40-50 train at the gold beach maps, any will do.
60-70 Train at Ice Valley 2.
70/80-140 do R&J pq (seriously best exp out there)
105-165 train at evo world (I hate this place but if you have no where to go this is the place)
100-140 MPE
120+ Do zakum and Papulatus Both bosses give really good exp for your level I highly recommend doing this daily as it gives good exp. For pap you need to do prequests though they're not that hard.
140-165 Dipq
165+ You know the Drill, I mean second drill hall!
And that's my training guide.

The Rising Heroes patch made a lot of places unavailable for maintenance. They will be back in a few years or something.
This is how I levelled my Shade to 140 in 2 days. Unfunded, lagging and 1.06x exp (yay for Zero Character Card) The rest is for.... life...
1-30 Class Quests: If you really can't be bothered then 10-30 Flaming golems yay.
30-38 Elluel Fairy Academy Quests: yay free cape and glove
38-47 Gold Richie's Gold Beach Quests: yay for cool medal
47-49 Cry somewhere in Perion: Wooden Masks, Mummy Dog hidden street map thing. Copper Drakes is good because you're ranged. (Don't die plz)
49-50 Tot's Free Level: Nexon didn't realise that Balrog is for 65+ and Aswan is like for level 80s so you only get 1 free level but hey! Free level!
50-56 Reina Strait Quests: yay free face mask. Don't you look hot now?
56-70 Ludibrium PQ: Force everyone to participate and try their hardest. You can complete a run in like 3 mins. So good, so good.
70-140 Romeo and Juliet PQ: For 70 (or 95) entire levels you will be stuck here because it has the best (BEST) exp for noobs like us
130-140 Monster Park Extreme: and then give up after 1 run because Romeo and Juliet PQ is so much better
140-165 Dimension PQ: Solo it if you can or bring a party. The good exp comes from completing it and not the mobs. You can only go 10 times a day and people say go to Evo Lab between your DiPQ runs but screw Evo Lab! You have to use potions (Yuck!), just Romeo and Juliet ok? I aint got enough meso for potions.
105-165 Evo Lab: Welp if all else fails and you are bored, you can go Evo Lab Link 3. Really sucks if you don't have knockback resist and/or drain. (And you're a thief, gg) Also, you have to tailor your core usage if you want it to be better than R&J. Monster spawn, level and health. If you have the meso, buy some cores from the core shop. I recommend 1.3x monster spawn, +4 mob level and 1.5x hp for unfunded. Waste a few runs on your first day just testing which cores suit you the best. It's actually pretty good at 160-165 because you only need the monster spawn and monster health cores (try 5x) as monsters cannot go over 160 in evo lab. Remember, Evo Lab will burn many potions so unless you get the core structure right, it's not worth it at all.
165-250 Drill Hall 2: Ok everyone knows this

There are more places and alternatives but ceebs yo I'm unfunded

EDIT: I JUST REALISED YOU WERE IN KHANI. HAHAHA GG FINDING A PARTY THERE.
56-70 Copper Drakes: Nice map, nice safezones.
70-80 Ice Valley 2: Nice map, even has a merchant but good luck not dying.
70-85 Sahel 2: I trained my Mihile here before I realised we had good PQs. Going here at level 70 on a thief is really pushing it though. You can stay until 90 but it gets a little slow. People who tell you to go here at level 60 are not to be trusted. (Unless you're funded and have link skills but you're a thief so don't risk it)
85-90 Somewhere deep down in Magatia: Kill some Homunculus. They live in a nice small flat map. There are many flat maps in the depths of Magatia.
90-100 West Leafre Forest: Just do it.

I don't know many grinding spots. I rely on parties at level 70+ :L
Good luck.
Use the World Map searchbar. Really helps.
