The earlier description actually specifies that it gives out coins, but has different amounts:
"If you look REALLY CLOSE, it says, "3 will get you 25 coins, 5 will get you 50, 8 will get you 75, 10 will get you 100.""
Besides this evidence, I noticed that when getting the box it said: "Remember to collect the RED tickets you find in these gifts to get more coins in the next patch!"

It is really easy to find the answer. Just google "maplestory red tickets."

actually yeah. so many people are asking and so many jerks are answering 'its so easy to find the answer'
is there any source actually backing this up? it's known that red coins are used to purchase items from the red shop, but nothing about the tickets themselves. got any useful info?
