im looking to get a new laptop. my budget is $800. i'm going to be using this for college and light gaming for games such as csgo, but maybe some single player games too like far cry.
i want a 15 inch screen.

Like everyone said, this is a solid laptop for the price.
The 950M GPU will easily let you play casual titles like LoL and CS:GO at max settings +60fps at 1080p, and will even be able to handle the latest AAA titles like Witcher 3 at medium settings at 720p.
SSDs are practically a must for laptops these days, and 256GB should be plenty as laptops aren't supposed to be storage-heavy anyways.
I was also looking for a new laptop to replace my aging one from 2009 that's collecting dust atm, ty for sharing me this as I might get this as well.

Pretty good laptop. I think its sufficient for what you want to use it for. Although it might not be a light laptop aha
Dell is running a special where they give you a TV if you buy one of their laptops, if that interests you.
