Ignore Defense and Damage
I'm a bit confused about how the ignore defense works in this game. Because I have 100% ignore when using phantom blow, and 30% bossing damage, however, phantom blow hits around 70k per hit on Hilla, and around 120k per hit on crockies without the final cut damage buff. How does this work out? I should be hitting (0.3*120,000) + 120,000 or 156,000 but I'm not even hitting half of that.

for someone rich enough to afford 100% ignore def and 30% boss damage, i'm quite surprised you don't know that some bosses like hilla, magnus, and root abyss guys automatically take 50% less damage because of elemental strengths/weaknesses "it's not very effective"
Hilia has a passive 50% damage resistance to all types of attacks.
I want that too, new skill, "Hilla Resistance" (HR), when maxed 50 % passive damage ignore !

Hilia has a passive 50% damage resistance to all types of attacks.
The same goes for Empress, Pink Bean, and all of the Root Abyss bosses.
Your 100% defense ignore is still there. Without it, your damage against Hilia would be even lower.
