What is going on here with the cannons?
I just saw someone level 102, bucc, wielding the gilded giant, running around like it's nothing! Is it eve possible for pirates, let alone buccs to equip them? if so, do they become untradable? And also, can they use them in combat/activate skills with them?

Yep~ Buccs can easily equip cannons, since they're Pirate weapons that require a hefty amount of STR. Unlike Kataras, they're not bound to just cannoneers, so... yeah... I'm walking around with a golden pen-I mean-Cannon to smack around mobs with And no, the Guilded Giants don't bind on equip, but they can only be transferred via storage once after which they become untradeable.
I could've sworn that the cannon in question was untradable once you put it into storage and take it out. I don't think equiping it would make it untradable.
Well, I see that, but in the video I don't see the bucc using a cannon... just guns, dual wielding if I may add... and that was quite a while ago, but I saw a bucc, wielding their cannon, not a gun, but the cannon, and I was wondering if after you equip it on say a bucc, if then you can unequip, but in storage and transfer to the cannon shooter and he/she would still be able to equip it after... any ideas?
i got one myself, but not using it til i get my cannon shooter to 100. besides, i got a mech i can delete since i haven't played em as much.
so far the cannon's only tradable through the account once. if u mess up, ur screwed.
Buccs have always been able to wear cannons

Okay, but does it become untradeable to your cannon shooter after you equip it?
Nexon is answering Buccaneer's prayers by granting them the use of an oversized weapon that....well, you can swing at enemies. I'll be honest, I solo'd up to Papulatus today with these almighty weapons
I lol'd.
Unlike Katara's, the cannons can be wielded by any pirate that has the required stats.
In the gilded giant's case, being a level 100 pirate with 270 strength will let you wield it. Of course, you can't really use it for anything particularly useful.
